The Dundale School Association or DSA, is our school's parent teacher and community group. We welcome all parents and carers of the school as members of this group.
Our committee is made up of two co-chairs, a treasurer and secretary. We also have class representatives for each class who may be your first point of contact when getting involved.
About the DSA
The Dundale School Association (DSA) is the Parent Teachers Association for Dundale School and Nursery
The DSA has two main aims:
1. To raise funds to improve the facilities within the school
2. To further the fantastic feeling of Community within the school
With the reduced funding that our school receives from the local authority, the fundraising aspect is increasingly important, as many of the facilities in the school could simply not be provided without funding from the DSA.
Over the last few years the various activities organised by the DSA have raised funds which have helped to provide:
This additional equipment all adds to our children’s enjoyment at school and enhances their learning experience.
We can’t possibly achieve all the amazing things we do without some amazing people.
As a parent of a child at Dundale School you are automatically a member of the DSA and the committee values everyone's comments, contributions and ideas.
We are a small committee and as such we are looking to form a Buddies of Dundale School group (BoDS). You don't have to join the committee or attend any meetings but it will be a list of people we can call upon to help with some of the tasks necessary to make the various events we run possible such as:
We have a number of ideas in mind on which to spend future fundraising income which will enrich our children's experience at Dundale. If there is any way that you could help support the DSA and the great contribution we make to the school funds, please have a chat with your class representative or pick up a leaflet from school reception, complete the form inside and hand it in.
Any contribution is welcome from cutting out craft items for fairs to helping run a stall such as the ever popular Chocolate Tombola and regular cake stalls!
