Uniform at Dundale 


All pupils from Reception to year 6 should come to school in full uniform every day except if there is a special event or prior agreement due to exceptional circumstances (such as injury)


Standard Dundale uniform consists of:


  • Navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan embroidered with the school logo, available from the school
  • Black or dark grey trousers, skirt, culottes or shorts of a style for standard school uniform
  • Light blue & white check summer dress
  • White polo shirt or a white shirt with a collar
  • White T-Shirt and black or navy blue shorts for P.E. (navy or black plain tracksuit bottoms may be worn in cold weather for outdoor P.E.)
  • Suitable coat – a navy school coat is available from the school but not mandatory



On health and safety grounds children may not wear jewellery in school, with the exception of earring studs in pierced ears and small objects of religious significance. Children must either remove these objects during PE and games, or cover them with a plaster provided by the parent.

Appropriate watches are allowed but should be removed for PE or when directed by staff members.

Make up is not allowed when attending or representing the school (including nail varnish).



Black shoes - no trainers, heels or open-toed footwear
Black, grey or white socks (at least ankle length)
Grey or black tights (No leggings)
During inclement weather wellies or boots can be worn to school but parents should provide a change of footwear (shoes or plimsolls) to be worn in school.

Children in KS 1 & 2 - trainers are required for PE




Long hair should be tied back away from the face, secured by clips or hair bands. Novelty accessories are not to be worn at school.
