"Hertfordshire’s Families First website provides valuable information, advice, and support for families. It covers a wide range of topics, including parenting advice, childcare, emotional and mental health, relationship support, and services for young people.
If you need more help beyond your usual support network (such as health visitors, schools, or family centres), Families First can work with you to create a personalized package of support. It’s available to all Hertfordshire families with children under 18 (or up to 25 if they have a learning need or disability).
Visit the Families First website for resources and assistance: www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/familiesfirst"
Snow and Ice
During periods of snow and ice please ensure all pupils are aware of the following:
Anyone seen or attempting to either throw ‘snow’/ ice or skid along the ice will be addressed appropriately using the school behaviour policy (depending on age, intention, severity etc.)
We are proud to be working with Micro Scooters who have donated 3 wheeled scooters and scooter helmets for our children to use. The company also run a ScooterAid scheme whereby they revamp old/unwanted Micro Scooters and send them to good causes across the country – giving thousands of children who may otherwise miss out the chance to play. If you have a scooter you would like to donate the scheme please get in touch with Micro Scooters.
