Woodland School
We are really fortunate to have a large wooded area on the school grounds. This is well used across the school. In Early Years, the children have weekly woodland school sessions led by the teachers where children explore the environment and carry out exciting activities to develop a range of skills.
Forest School
From September 2023, all children across Years 1 - 6 will have a 6 week Forest School programme led by Martin Gilbey - a qualified Forest School instructor.
Every child has the right to play, get dirty, make their own choices and come up with their own solutions. Our aim is to facilitate this by allowing the children to explore and take appropriate risks within our beautiful woodland environment. In this way we encourage well rounded individuals, building resilience and confidence.
